For about as long as I can remember I’ve been drawing and painting, or thinking about drawings and paintings that I would like to do.

I’ve experimented with many mediums and finally discovered that pastels are my passion. I began my serious art journey with graphite and portraiture but soon realized that while that is good training, I was not going to achieve the effects that I wanted and that I love working with color and light regardless of the subject matter. After many years in the corporate world denying my heart I am now a freelance artist, which gives me more time to experiment and work on my own art.

I never imagined that my love would eventually become my profession, and I am so grateful for that opportunity. Because of the freedom of freelancing, my life today is much more creative, interesting and fulfilling. I am still experimenting with most of my work so I hope you will join me on my journey and visit the website often to see my latest work.
